Carat appoints Yahoo research director
US-- Carat, the Aegis-owned media agency, has appointed Yahoo director Theresa LaMontagne as senior vice president of data analytics and insights.
She previously served as director of sales and media research at Yahoo and was associate director of communication insights at ad agency BBDO/OMD before joining the internet giant.
LaMontagne also had a spell at Simmons Market Research Bureau where she led the agency's data collection and product departments.
Carat president Martin Cass said: “Theresa has proven herself as a leader in conducting innovative research that leads to consumer understanding. We are thrilled to have her on board as we expand and grow our product and offering.”
Earlier this month, Carat appointed former Omnicom OMD man Mike Hess as executive vice president of research, marketing science and consumer insight.
LaMontagne will report to Hess and will work alongside Michelle Lynn, senior vice president of Carat Insight.
