Cagney receives takeover approach

Tree owner in discussions with unnamed suitor
UK-- Cagney, owner of research agency Tree, has received a takeover approach from an unnamed company.
The firm said that “discussions are at an early stage and there can be no certainty that an offer will be made” and that it was undertaking a strategic review of its options.
The announcement followed a day of heavy trading in the company's shares, which saw their value jump 154% from 0.28p to 0.7p.
Cagney said it will make a further announcement “as and when appropriate”.
