Avid Ratings snaps up RA Heaton

US-- Building research and consulting firm Avid Ratings has acquired RA Heaton & Company, a firm specialising in sales training for the home-building industry, for an undisclosed amount.

RA Heaton will be integrated into Avid's consulting division, Avid Advisors, which offers sales training and strategic marketing analysis. The firm's founder, Rick Heaston, will join Avid Advisors as executive sales advisor.

Avid CEO Paul Cardis said: “I have known Rick for over 10 years. During that time I have developed the highest respect for his sales training programme through the success it has bought to leading builders throughout North America.”

Heaton said: “I'm thrilled to offer this fantastic programme to Avid clients which is geared for today's customers and will enable clients to outsell their competition.”
