Angoss Software acquires dthree for C$2m
CANADA-- Data mining and predictive analytics firm Angoss Software has acquired marketing solutions agency dthree for C$2.1m.
Dthree specialises in using customer data to help companies improve their online and brand presence through its Intellimaxx marketing data analysis tool.
Angoss has created a new subsidiary – Sapien Information Services – to operate the dthree marketing services business and expand its own predictive analytics and external market data capabilities.
Angoss president Eric Apps said: “Our initial focus will be on ensuring a seamless transition for customers and employees of dthree. Longer term we believe we can also significantly enhance IntelliMaxx capabilities for the benefit of existing and new clients of both companies.”
The new subsidiary will be led by president Tony Canapini, who has joined from Experian where he was country manager for Canada, and executive vice president of marketing Jordan Cooperman, who was previously a partner at Indecon Consulting.
