Union Metrics publicly launches Tumblr analytics

Data analytics North America

US — Union Metrics of San Francisco, the preferred analytics provider for blogging platform Tumblr, has launched its Union Metrics for Tumblr product to the public following a two-month invitation-only beta testing trial.

The company says the product provides analytics based on 100 million Tumblr events a day. It will measure activity and engagement for any blog or any topic on Tumblr, so that clients can learn which posts are resonating with readers, with full breakdowns of likes and reblogs and details of how content gets shared through reblog network visualisations.

Other new measures following the beta tests include full ad-hoc date filtering, so you can drill into any date range from your tracker’s history, and access to lists, so you can view and sort posts, contributors, curators and tags in the tracker user interface.

The company said: “These are the first of many features to come that will make it even easier to pinpoint precisely how and where engagement happens on Tumblr for what ever you’re tracking.” Prior to working with Tumblr, Union Metrics has traded in Twitter metrics since 2009 with TweetReach.
