IBM promises improved decision making through analytics software

US— IBM has launched new predictive analytics software that will automatically correlate and analyse big data so that clients can embed insight into business decisions.

The new Analytical Decision Management software applies real time analytics into “any operational data” and instantly analyses it to uncover trends and expose “hidden paths to growth”. IBM said that as a result insight can be automated, socialised and used for predictive decision making.

Users of the software will also have access to IBM’s latest Equity Analytics capabilities, which report on how different sets of data are related to each other in different contexts. It also analyses social networks to identify influencers on any given topic.
