US — Predictive analytics specialist Zementis has partnered with engineering and design consultancy Atkins to deliver real-time predictive analytics to the infrastructure industry.
The deal will target government and private organisations that maintain large infrastructure systems such as water supply and wastewater collection systems, road networks, telecommunications and ports.
The two companies aim to help with forecasting models based on their technology to allow for the maximisation of financial, environmental, and safety benefits of existing and proposed infrastructure systems, while ensuring and streamlining regulatory compliance.
“This collaboration represents a concrete step forward in providing infrastructure decision-makers with the full benefit of predictive analytics,” said Donna Huey, senior vice president and business sector manager of Atkins’ Applied Technologies Group in North America.
Dr Michael Zeller, CEO of Zementis, added: “Organisations increasingly recognise the value that predictive analytics can bring to their business. It is our mission to lower the barrier of entry for such algorithms and enable our clients to take advantage of smart, real-time decisions in their day-to-day operations.”
