The syndicated digital community platform provides on-demand quantitative and qualitative research, consumer tracking and in-depth research of Chinese consumers. AMD said Echo combines Community leader, Passenger, and its community platform for insights technology with China Pulse, its ongoing national and industry specific analysis.

Clients will be able to monitor specific industries such as mass and selective skincare, automotive, snacks, beverages, nutritional supplements and digital technology.

Jeff Stewart, managing director of AMD said: “China encompasses nearly one fifth of the world’s population and its growth model has changed. Consumer consumption in China drives its overall growth and now it’s more important than ever to monitor consumer confidence closely.”

AMD was founded in Hong Kong in 2013 by Stewart, a former Nielsen executive. It then expanded into Shanghai and, in 2014, added a Singapore office.
