Ad solutions firm rises from NebuAd's ashes

UK-- News of NebuAd's death may have been exaggerated – or, at least, what was once part of it lives on in another guise, it was revealed today.

Calls to the behavioural targeting firm's UK office this morning were answered by a company called Insight Ready, whose website – www.insightready.co.uk – was registered in November 2008 by NebuAd of Foster City, California – the same NebuAd that was reported yesterday to have ceased trading.

A ‘.com' version of the domain was registered in April this year by Insight Ready Limited of Sussex, England. Companies House documents obtained by Research show that that business was incorporated on 25 March 2009, with a Mrs Sarah Jane Morgan of Sussex listed as sole director and shareholder.

Morgan could not be reached for comment today. A representative of Insight Ready said senior managers were away on business until Tuesday. Asked about NebuAd, the employee said that the company had closed.

Insight Ready's website promises “powerful solutions for the online advertising industry” but no further information on these “solutions” were available at press time.
