Hall & Partners' Palmer leaves London for Sydney

AUSTRALIA— Nick Palmer, senior director at Hall & Partners London, has been appointed to the newly created post of research director at the firm’s Sydney office.

Palmer spent six years at Hall & Partners London during which time he managed brand and communications tracking for Lloyds TSB. Previous to this, Palmer spent four years at Millward Brown/BMRB.

In Sydney he will manage the firm’s projects in the finance, alcoholic beverages and tourism sectors. Hall & Partners recently merged with Open Mind Research Group in Australia to form Hall & Partners | Open Mind.

CEO Vicki Arbes said: “For more than ten years Nick has been living and breathing brand and advertising research. He brings extensive experience managing large complex tracking studies for diverse businesses… and also in managing major client databases.”
