CRM firm Merkle opens Shanghai office

US— Customer relationship marketing agency Merkle has opened its first international office in Shanghai.

The office will be led by Raymond Wu, who will work with three other managers and 25 employees. The firm will support five of its US-based multinational clients from the office, including Dell.

The firm hopes that the new location, which will offer technology and analytics operations globally, will fuel its growth around the world.

Merkle chairman and CEO David Williams said establishing an office in China was a “pivotal moment” in the company’s history, which “complements our pattern of rapid growth here in the US”.
