Thanks for this Andrew. I sometimes wonder if in the absence of a clear boundaries in the global and online space, and amidst a breakdown in local institutions, the individual himself is the only point of reference, which still needs to ascent of many. Can it be the need for the individual to be recognized within the society he belongs to, and not in spite of it? It does foster an average culture though, I agree with that.
