Pulse Group introduces mobile and IVR capabilities

MALAYSIA— Research outsourcing firm Pulse Group is adding mobile and IVR (interactive voice response) solutions to its range of data collection services in Asia.
CEO Bob Chua said the new offerings would allow the firm “to reach consumers in both growing and mature markets at a lower cost”.
The firm already runs an online research panel and CATI centres serving Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
IVR technology will be used to reduce the costs of continous tracking programmes, while mobile research will be combined with online methods to reach a wider sample of consumers in what Chua called “the world’s most mobile connected region”.
